For the first leg of their upcoming Jammers' North American tour, Seattle's finest will be joined by opening act SONIC YOUTH. After a short break in August, the tour will continue in September with SUPERGRASS as the warm-up band. Check out MTV News to find out when the tour stops in your town and which band will open the show.
BLOODHOUND GANG and 'NSYNC?! NME reports that the two, er, boybands met after a BLOODHOUND GANG show and the 'NSYNCers revealed that they were GANG fans. The two groups will team up for a song in the near future, although GANG frontman Jimmy Pop is being very secretive about the details.
UNDERWORLD goes under. A big change in the world of UNDERWORLD, the deep-electronic outfit that brought us "Born Slippy." Darren Emerson, one of the band's musical programmers, has split. A rumored discrepancy in salary along with the fact that Darren had a child last year led to the decision, according to NME. Remaining members Karl Hyde and Rick Smith have pledged to continue on as UNDERWORLD.
