More bands get WARPED. The travelling Woodstock of skate-punk can now count even more bands among its lineup. According to MTV, NO DOUBT, LIT, WEEZER, and the BLACK EYED PEAS will be joining the tour that currently features GREEN DAY, PAPA ROACH, THE MIGHTY MIGHTY BOSSTONES, NOFX, LONG BEACH DUB ALLSTARS, MxPx, THE SUICIDE MACHINES, and many others. The 2000 VANS WARPED TOUR continues through August.

KISS can't say farewell. Live Daily reports that the make-up clad crew will continue stomping their platform shoes and wagging their tongues for 21 more tour dates in North America. The KISS Farewell Tour will now continue into September, and another opening band (not yet named) will replace Skid Row for these shows.

New from the BLACK CROWES. The BLACK CROWES have signed a contract to join the V2 record label. The CROWES' best-of album, The Black Crowes: A Tribute to a Work in Progress ... Greatest Hits 1990-1999 hits store shelves this Tuesday, June 20, and the band will begin touring with JIMMY PAGE on June 25. Cdnow reports that the band's first album with V2 is expected to be out in Spring of 2001.
