LIMP BIZKIT gives fans a golden surprise on upcoming release. According to LIMP BIZKIT's official website, fans could find treasure when they purchase the band's October 17th release, Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water. Gold autographed CDs and backstage laminates will be randomly inserted into their latest record. If you are lucky enough to pull one of these magical CDs off the shelf, you could win a Paul Reed Smith guitar or a Remo drumhead signed by LIMP BIZKIT and lifetime backstage passes for you and 3 of your friends.

A whole lotta live albums from PEARL JAM. Music 365 reports that in addition to the 25 live albums PEARL JAM released (recorded during their Spring 2000 European tour), the band will also be documenting their upcoming US tour for another 46 live albums. Look for the live albums to be available on the band's website around Christmas, and look for PEARL JAM on tour with SUPERGRASS.

BS from the BEASTIE BOYS. NME reports that there's some new material on its way from BEASTIE BOY Adam Horowitz's side project BS2000. A four song EP, entitled Buddy will be released this November 13th through the BEASTIES' Grand Royal record label.
